Hej,
My name is Isabel, I live in Belgium...and I'm a Herrey-fan from the beginning. Since May 4, 1984! Cause that was the day, I first saw Diggi-loo,diggi-ley. In Belgium, it was the tradition (back in the 80's) to broadcast all the participating songs, the night before the actual Eurovision Song contest. I was 10 back then, and I could only look at the first 10 songs.... Lucky me, Herrey's sang first! :-)
But it was my mom who was the biggest fan at first... I remember, when Désirée Nosbusch said the historical words : we have a winner... My mom jumped up and started jumping on the couch. I looked at her and thought : nutcase! ha,ha... You know, my mom and I both had our own single of Diggi-loo, diggi-ley. No kidding!
Hard to compete with your own mother! ;-)
But you know what was the most special experience...
I was touched, not only by their music...but also by their faith. And that is the most precious gift, I ever got from someone!! That is why I'm so grateful Herrey's came into my life... and they will be in my heart for ever!
